Four Linden High School Patriots are listed on the 2023 All-State Football Team, which was announced by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. Those players are listed as follows:
- First Team Defense: Roderick Brown, Senior, 5'11, 205 lbs.
- Second Team Offense: OL Willie Conner, Junior, 6'1, 315 lbs.
- Second Team Defense: DB Kareem Rembert, Sophomore, 5'9, 160 lbs.
- Second Team Defense: Keilyn Edwards, Linden, Sophomore, 5'9, 160 lbs.
The ASWA prep committee decided on coach nominations that were submitted to sports writers. The ASWA will make available the names of the three finalists in each of the seven AHSAA categories and the AISA for Back and Lineman of the Year.
According to published reports, the state's Mr. Football, Backs, and Linemen of the Year will be announced during a banquet in Montgomery on January 16.
