Linden City Schools invited Lt. Mike Reese of the Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control Board and Operation Save Teens to speak in order to raise awareness of the risks that students face in classrooms. Operation Save Teens is a program that teaches adolescents about alcohol and drug misuse, driving safety, and self-destructive behaviors. It places a strong emphasis on making wise decisions and selecting the appropriate friends. The program emphasized the relevance of each life and the real-life consequences of making poor decisions. Lt. Reese urged parents to keep talking to their children about making wise decisions and emphasized the value of every life.

Join Linden High School's basketball teams as they host Southern Choctaw High School for their season opener tomorrow, December 5, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Please use the QR code to purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. Concessions will be sold. There will be NO PASSES OUT, so please be mindful and respectful of the school policies that are in place. #GOPATRIOTS
